Vintage Charm, Military Precision – Meet M.R.M.W.’s Cushion Military Watch

Forget predictable circles and squares; the watch to wear right now is M.R.M.W.’s Cushion Military Watch. Inspired by iconic Rolex Oyster models from the 1920s, this timepiece blends vintage charm with modern durability. Crafted in Japan, it features a polished stainless-steel case paired with a rugged “crazy horse” leather strap, developing its own unique patina over time.

The crisp white dial mirrors early U.S. military designs, displaying hours and minutes distinctly above a separate seconds dial - a subtle nod to functional heritage. Driven by a reliable 12-hour quartz movement, it’s built for everyday precision.

At $237 from Cultizm, this watch channels authentic military style without breaking the bank, proving M.R.M.W.’s philosophy that great watches are timeless.

How (and why) The Last Of Us got Pedro Pascal's Joel dressing like a soft dad

In GQ, Jack King speaks with costume designer Ann Foley about the thoughtful evolution of Pedro Pascal’s Joel into a softer, dad-like figure in The Last of Us season two and why he still clings to that iconic Flint & Tinder jacket.

In The Last of Us season two, we find a version of Joel (Pedro Pascal) who has softened over the five years since his journey across the post-apocalyptic American landscape with surrogate daughter Ellie (Bella Ramsey). They now live a relatively comfortable life in the safety of Jackson, Wyoming, a walled settlement established by his brother Tommy (Gabriel Luna) and Tommy's wife Maria (Rutina Wesley). He's still steeped in trauma accumulated over the past couple of decades, but so would anyone forced to fend for themselves living in a desolate wasteland. Nonetheless, Joel is softer around the edges; living in Jackson, he's pretty much in full dad mode. It's quite the transformation from the ruthless smuggler we met at the onset of season one.

Workwear Reimagined: 2025’s Office Style Gets a Smart, Relaxed Upgrade

In a recent feature by Business Insider, stylists and designers highlight the evolving landscape of men's workwear in 2025. The modern office wardrobe is shifting towards a balance of style and comfort, reflecting broader changes in workplace norms and fashion sensibilities.

Key trends include the rise of Belgian leather loafers for their versatility, the adoption of monochromatic outfits for a sleek appearance, and the preference for subdued accessories like minimalist belts and ties. Structured, lightweight blazers and Chelsea boots are also gaining popularity, offering refined flexibility. Additionally, relaxed-fit trousers are replacing ultra-slim styles, providing comfort without compromising on style.

This shift is partly driven by post-pandemic casualization, increased awareness of sustainability, and changing consumer preferences that prioritize quality over fast fashion. Visible brand logos are falling out of favor, as minimalism and understated elegance dominate the fashion scene.
