Milworks leads with a new collection from Relwen

Milwaukee heritage and military inspired retailer Milworks is highlighting their new arrivals from American workwear specialist Relwen. Heavily influenced by the fields and farms and great lakes of Ohio and Michigan, Relwen aims to create the kind of clothing that works and will remain relevant and lasting, a hundred years from now.

We particularly like their iconic blazers in wool blends, technical outerwear pieces, and soft knits and flannels. These items won’t hang around forever so head over now before you miss out.

A lifetime supply of quality footwear in just one pair

As the season turns ever colder and wetter thoughts turn to a solid pair of boots and they come no better than this option from heritage brand Monroe. Crafted in one of the most storied leathers in existence, the horsebutt from the Maryam tannery in Italy these goodyear welted boots strike a lovely balance between a tough construction and a more elegant silhouette. Expensive at $595 but they will last a lifetime and Bakers Boots are currently offering 20% off for serving military and veterans.

Davide Renne, Moschino Creative Director, Dead at 46

We mourn a legend today as it is announced that Davide Renne has sadly passed away at the age of just 46. The Italian fashion designer and former head of women’s wear at Gucci, died nine days after becoming the creative director of Moschino. His death in Milan on Nov. 10 was confirmed by Aeffe, the parent group of Moschino, on Friday. A cause was not disclosed, though a statement published via email and on social media channels referred to “a sudden illness.”

“There are no words to describe the pain we are experiencing at this dramatic time,” the statement, from Massimo Ferretti, the Aeffe chairman, said. “Today, we are left with the responsibility of carrying on what his imagination and creativity only envisioned.”
