Big moves on the fashion career carousel
Kim Jones is stepping down from Christian Dior menswear after seven years, fueling speculation that he could soon take the top creative role at Burberry. The British designer joined Dior in 2018 and also led Fendi from 2020 until October 2024. His departure from both roles suggests a major career move is imminent.
The fashion insider account 1Granary hinted at a Burberry appointment, where Daniel Lee has struggled since joining in 2022. Lee is rumored to be moving to Jil Sander, which recently lost its creative directors. JW Anderson has also been suggested as a contender for Dior, though he may only take the job if allowed to design both men's and womenswear—raising questions about Maria Grazia Chiuri’s future at the brand.
Jones, known for blending streetwear with luxury, expanded Dior’s menswear business fivefold to €1.2bn by 2023. Meanwhile, Burberry has faced instability, with two profit warnings in 2024. New CEO Joshua Schulman has stabilized the brand, and bringing in Jones could be the next step. As luxury fashion braces for a major reshuffle, all eyes are on his next move.

Hermès Menswear Races Ahead with Jockey-Inspired Boldness
Hermès injected energy into a grey Paris afternoon with its Fall 2025 menswear collection, as Véronique Nichanian drew inspiration from the world of horse racing. Bold tones of tomato red, lemon yellow, deep brown, and teal added vibrancy, complementing the brand’s equestrian roots.
Texture was key, with mohair coats, velvet varsity jackets, and plush sheepskin outerwear offering both warmth and luxury. This season’s silhouettes were streamlined, shedding bulk for movement.
Sweaters featured chevron and geometric designs, mirroring the angular forms of racing silks. A standout patchwork turtleneck in bright colors played with shape and tone, while a shawl-collar jacket extended the graphical theme.
Balancing classic tailoring with playful irreverence, Nichanian reaffirmed Hermès’ ability to blend refinement with ease, delivering a collection that felt as much in motion as the men who wear it.

Filson Prospector Hoodie Stands Up to Any Challenge
The Filson Prospector Hoodie is a rugged essential designed for durability, warmth, and comfort. Made with heavyweight cotton-blend fleece, it features a brushed interior for insulation, a smooth, pill-resistant exterior, and reinforced rib-knit cuffs and hem that won’t stretch out. The double-layer hood offers extra warmth and fits over hats and helmets, making it perfect for both work and adventure.
Filson has been synonymous with hard-wearing gear since 1897, when C.C. Filson outfitted gold prospectors heading to the Yukon. Over a century later, the brand remains committed to purpose-built apparel, using premium materials and craftsmanship that withstands the elements.
Part of the Prospector Sweats Series, this hoodie is "built like a tank," ensuring lasting performance. Whether you’re braving the outdoors, working in the field, or just layering up, the Filson Prospector Hoodie delivers toughness without sacrificing comfort.
