Issue #67 | How to Dress Better Without Trying Too Hard
Plus, Grenson’s rugged new boot, a timeless chore coat, and a burger joint making the three-day workweek look easy
Welcome to Style Uncut. The latest and greatest in men’s fashion and style brought direct to your inbox every week.

Grenson and YMC team up
For Autumn Winter 2025, Grenson and YMC present a handcrafted men’s boot in black and brown leather, made in Grenson’s Northampton factory. This collaboration merges YMC’s contemporary design with Grenson’s heritage craftsmanship, resulting in a boot that is both timeless and built to last.
Inspired by a 1930s Grenson archive design and a YMC pull-on boot, the style features a chunky square toe, stacked heel, and an inside zip, offering a refined but rugged look. Crafted to develop a rich patina over time, this boot is designed for longevity and everyday wear.
The collection is especially meaningful, as it was the vision of Fraser Moss, YMC’s co-founder, who sadly passed away after seeing the first prototype. Here’s to you, Fraser.
Available now for $695, the Grenson x YMC men’s boot is the perfect blend of past and present.

This Burger Joint Owner Has Mastered the Three Day Workweek
In the heart of Marfa, Texas, Matthew Bolick has crafted a lifestyle that blends music, burgers, and community at Larry’s Cheeseburger Room and Cassette Deck. Open only three days a week, Larry’s is a tribute to Bolick’s love for hospitality and analogue culture, featuring a growing cassette collection alongside classic burgers.
After years running popular Austin bars, Bolick sought a slower, more intentional pace—one that includes 20-mile bike rides into the desert and tape deck DJ sets at a local wine bar. More than just a burger joint, Larry’s is a place to gather, connect, and escape the algorithm-driven world. As Bolick puts it, “It’s all about creating a party.”

Heimat Textil Reinvents the Classic Chore Coat
We’ve fallen in love with this jacket. Let us tell you why.
The Journey Coat in Desert Dry Wax by Heimat Textil is a masterclass in craftsmanship, combining heritage materials with meticulous construction. Made from 8.5 oz. Dry Waxed Canvas by Halley Stevensons®, this 100% cotton fabric is unlike traditional oil-based waxed cotton in that it offers superior water resistance without the heavy, sticky feel, ensuring durability, flexibility, and long-term weather protection in all seasons.
Inspired by the classic chore jacket, Heimat refines the silhouette with raglan sleeves for mobility and drape, maintaining the functionality of workwear while introducing a sleeker more contemporary fit. Every detail speaks to quality—from brown corozo buttons to single and double-needle stitching, banded felled seams, and bartacked reinforcements for structural integrity. Thoughtful pockets include a hidden pen slot, layered patch pockets, and dual interior compartments, making it as practical as it is stylish.
Rooted in German precision and sustainability, Heimat Textil is driven by a philosophy of longevity over trends, crafting pieces meant to be worn, weathered, and cherished. Whether on city streets or rugged trails, the Journey Coat is a companion built to endure every step of life’s path.
