Bleu de Chauffe’s New Belt Range Matches Style and Durability

You probably know Bleu de Chauffe for their bags, but when they turn their leather expertise to belts then you should take note. Their new lineup is a masterclass in style and durability, inspired by the rugged spirit of French workwear. Handcrafted in France, these belts are made with vegetable-tanned leather and sustainable, hand-finished details.

The collection features three core styles, each with its own flair:

  • The Manille: A workwear-inspired piece with a nickel-coated brass buckle reminiscent of boat shackles. Available in black, natural, and “pain brûlé” (yes, like burnt bread).

  • The Manchette: Slightly slimmer but no less robust, with a curved metal-inspired buckle in brass. Rugged but refined.

  • The Cliquet: A woven example blending a bit of chic with tool-shed grit. They have options in leather and suede.

Starting at $82, these belts are more than accessories—they’re investments in timeless craftsmanship. Check them out at Bleu de Chauffe and add a touch of French finesse to your wardrobe.

Levi’s and SATISFY Launch Climbing-Ready 501 Jeans

Levi’s and SATISFY have joined forces to create the 501 Re-Possessed Climb Jeans, designed specifically for climbers. Using 200 vintage USA-made 501s from the 1980s and 1990s, the collaboration upgrades the classic design with functional climbing features.

SATISFY is a performance-focused brand that seeks to redefine activewear by blending technical innovation with a minimalist, design-driven approach. Known for its commitment to high-quality materials and functional details, SATISFY creates gear that performs as well on rugged trails as it does in everyday life.

The new jeans include an adjustable belt for a better fit, reinforced knees, and a gusseted crotch for added mobility. Practical details like a zippered Dyneema pocket and a chalk brush holder make them ready for climbing while retaining the original 501 aesthetic. Each pair is unique, showing off its vintage wear.

Available December 12, this collaboration blends performance and classic style, perfect for climbers and denim fans alike.

Double Helix Revives Vintage Craftsmanship with their Classic 1930s Jacket

Double Helix, a Japanese brand rooted in traditional techniques, focuses on creating garments that reflect the durability and style of a bygone era. Their Classic 1930s Jacket highlights this philosophy, blending straightforward design with high-quality materials.

Crafted from 0.8mm-thick French horsehide suede, the jacket is soft but tough, offering immediate comfort and long-lasting durability. The vegetable-tanned leather gives it a unique character that develops over time.

The jacket features a clean, centre-zip design, nickel hardware, and a functional half-belt at the back. Practicality comes through in its thoughtful details: a zippered chest pocket, two front pockets, an interior pocket, and corduroy-lined cuffs for added comfort. Its 100% Cupro lining ensures smooth wear, while Waldes zippers and a hookless main zipper underscore the focus on precision and reliability.
