Welcome to Style Uncut. The latest and greatest in men’s fashion and style brought direct to your inbox every week.

French refinement meets American heritage

This week we’ve been excited by this De Bonne Facture x Division Road Undyed Ecru French Corduroy Overshirt. Apparently inspired by Saoula Raouda Choucair’s poetic wood sculptures, this piece celebrates natural materials and organic shapes.

Crafted in Bagnolet, France, by outerwear specialist M. Erbas, this overshirt exemplifies fine regional craftsmanship. It's made from responsibly sourced linen and organic cotton, milled in France with textured yarns. The 12 oz. medium wale corduroy is left undyed, highlighting its natural beauty and durability.

The classic silhouette, set-in sleeves, and full tonal lining provide a luxurious feel and easy layering. Dark brown corozo nut buttons on the front placket and cuffs add a touch of rich refinement. Paying homage to the classic military issue CPO shirt from the early 1930s, this piece is a nod to history with a forward-focused look.

Don't Miss Dubbleware’s Spring Sale: Up to 50% Off Workwear Essentials

Not to be missed this week is Dubbleware’s Spring sale where they’ll be offering up to 50% off items like these doubleknee carpenter pants in a light coloured spring appropriate cotton, this chore jacket in the same fabric, and this chambray work shirt.

Dubbleware, founded in 1918 by M. Hoffman in Boston, Massachusetts, quickly became a staple in American workwear, particularly among farmers in the 1930s. The brand pioneered inclusive marketing, targeting both men and women. Known for their durability, Dubbleware's products, such as denim pants and chambray boiler suits, were crafted on vintage machines and inspired by 1930s designs. Today, the brand continues to produce timeless workwear pieces, maintaining its legacy of quality and durability.

Upgrade Your Style with Boyant’s Sleek Linen Trousers

This week we also wanted to highlight these military inspired gurkha style trousers in a season appropriate linen. Boyant’s First Cut Linen trouser features a medium high rise, single outward-facing pleats, and a gentle taper for a sleek silhouette. Hand-sewn in Portugal, these trousers are crafted from 100% Monte Carlo Linen sourced from Brisbane Moss in Yorkshire, England.

Boyant, a Swedish company, creates tailored ready-to-wear and made-to-order trousers that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design. They use fine European fabrics and tailor them in Portugal or their Southern Sweden atelier focussing on timeless cuts, tailored details, and versatility, aiming to elevate the modern cosmopolitan styling. Their trousers emphasize perfect fit and reliability, standing the test of time in seasonless fabrics.
