EasyMoc collaborates with Division Road for staple summer shoe

This week we’ve loved the EasyMoc x Division Road Beach Aniline Roughout Rambler. A fully functional derby shoe exclusively designed in collaboration with founder Greg Cordeiro, this shoe highlights Maine’s finest traditions of hand-lasted, hand-sewn, true moccasin production.

Made with full-weight steer hides on the roughout flesh side, vertically processed, and combination-tanned by Tasman Leather in Maine. The roughout is softly dyed with a heavy aniline finish for a flexible and durable material imbued with a natural feel that will patina beautifully with texture and tone.

This shoe pattern is complemented and completed with a full collar for a locked fit below the ankle, a reinforced quarter with a unique heavy-duty sail stitch, and natural upper thread, including the heavy gauge waxed moccasin toe, heel, and overcast stitching.

For proportional balance and a stable surface, the Rambler Moc is completed with an outsole stitched midsole atop a Vibram 4014 Christy sole, ideal for stable striding from concrete to campsite in a workman-made moccasin that styles up to your best heritage or modern ensembles.

Another shoe that caught our eye recently is the SMUGS by Goral. Recently reviewed by the inimitable Western on the Rose Anvil YouTube channel this sneaker takes the best materials and construction techniques from the world of boots and applies them to a lightweight casual summer shoe.
