Merz b. Schwanen’s new Spring/Summer collection drops

Merz b. Schwanen have made a name for themselves as both the dressers of TV legend Carmy from The Bear and purveyors of heritage manufactured loopwheeled clothing. This week they drop their Spring/Summer lookbook to great acclaim. In their own words:

On the tail end of the colder months, our collective energy shifts. It lifts, lightens and takes on new, restorative hues. Merz b. Schwanen’s new Spring/Summer Collection 2024 captures this feeling – the annual re-dipping of toes into the refreshing world of spring, summer and color.

Merz b. Schwanen’s SS2024 is a celebration of renewal. It’s about blush pink’s ability to brighten your mood. Green’s capacity to ruffle creativity. Blue’s knack for boosting mental clarity. It’s about how color compels us to smile, and its spectrum is yours to style however you like. Forever original, Merz b. Schwanen’s SS2024 is a showcase of Grass, Newman Red, Honey, Vintage Blue, Peach and more, designed as always to look, feel and function beautifully.

The complete guide to Air Jordan 4 colorways

Released in 1989, the Air Jordan 4 debuted in four original colorways. It was Tinker Hatfield’s second Air Jordan design, his sophomore effort after roping Mike back into favor with Nike thanks to his exotic design of the Air Jordan 3. To this day, it remains one of the most revered Air Jordan retro models in the brand’s arsenal, and arguably the most favored Tinker designs amongst sneakerheads.

The design received its first-ever retro run in 1999, with the second coming seeing both the original Black and White Cement colorways release alongside the new Retro+ concept that introduced non-OG colorways to the model, as well as some aesthetic changes to the design.

In the years since, the silhouette has become a favorite for collaborators, with the likes of Eminem, Travis Scott, KAWS, and Levi’s all linking up on the silhouette. Its mainline releases are often amongst the most desirable of the year putting the Air Jordan 4 towards the top of most people’s lists.

High waisted looks can work no matter the body shape

This week we also wanted to highlight a new lookbook by British based retailer Clutch Cafe. The whole output is wonderful but we particularly enjoyed images like the above that demonstrate, without qualification, that the currently favoured high waisted tucked in look can be adopted by bigger guys as well.

Correctly judged fit and proportions work no matter the body type and you should feel confident in wearing whatever looks good on you rather than be bound by vague adopted notions of what’s “right” or “usual”.

Go forth, our brothers of various sizes, and flex as desired.
