Plus dunks in earth tones and bargain French urbanwear
Welcome to Style Uncut. The latest and greatest in men’s fashion and style brought direct to your inbox every week.

The N-1 is always the answer
With the biting cold being a feature of our week we’d like to suggest that your answer to the question of which is the best cold weather heritage jacket might just be the N-1 deck jacket. This menswear staple derives from the US Navy who needed a warm and dry piece of outerwear to replace the antiquated peacoat in the mid 20th century.
The N-1 is signified by a shearling lining, a cropped silhouette and a tough jungle cloth shell which is a type of very rugged cotton canvas. The most authentic reproductions will include hand warmer pockets, a cinching cord at the waist and a stand up collar.
Two great examples are this oiled more water resistant one from Iron Heart and this from Dehen plus a cheaper but slightly less authentic version from Universal Works on sale now at just $277 is great value too.

Nike drops Dunks in earth tones
You might think this an inappropriate pick for the winter but if you squint you can justify these as autumnal earth tones and just about get away with it. But whether its for a mild winter where you are or an early buy for spring we can’t recommend highly enough these Nike Dunks in a hairy suede of orange and tan.
The Nike Dunk Low continues to innovate within its classic framework, introducing a captivating new colorway that stays true to the silhouette's heritage while embracing a refreshing palette. This latest design follows in the footsteps of its predecessor in "Light Armory Blue", which showcased a unique blend of muted sky blue, bone, and mid-grey, offering a serene and complex aesthetic.
This $135 new sneaker isn’t out quite yet but for more information and to register your interest head over to House of Heat now.
