Levi’s and Kiko Kostadinov Reinvent Denim with Tailored Precision

Levi’s has teamed up with London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov for a Fall/Winter 2025 capsule that reimagines classic denim through a tailored lens. The five-piece collection, released November 11, includes structured trucker jackets, wide-leg trousers, and a sharp denim blazer that nods to Kostadinov’s avant-workwear aesthetic.

Each garment carries subtle distortion details and asymmetrical seam work, elevating Levi’s signature fabrics into something closer to architectural tailoring. The palette stays true to both brands with deep indigos, washed blacks, and muted greys while the fit and finish push beyond everyday denim. This collaboration marks one of Levi’s most design-driven partnerships in years, blurring the line between workwear and runway.

For menswear fans, it’s a reminder that denim doesn’t have to mean casual. In the hands of Kostadinov, it becomes precision dressing for men who want to look sharp without losing that sense of grit that defines Levi’s heritage.

Uniqlo and Needles Find Quiet Confidence in Everyday Style

Uniqlo’s latest collaboration with Needles brings a softer, more offbeat energy to the Japanese retailer’s minimalist universe. The Fall/Winter 2025 line reworks Needles’ signature track tops, fleece layers, and relaxed tailoring into a uniform of easy elegance.

Instead of the brand’s usual bold purples and stripes, the palette is muted with greys, olives, and washed brown and only flashes of Needles’ butterfly motif to hint at its roots in Tokyo’s street scene.

The focus is on comfort and texture rather than spectacle: brushed fleece, recycled polyester, and ribbed trims give each piece a lived-in feel. Priced far below Needles’ mainline, the collection shows how Uniqlo continues to democratise niche design without flattening its identity.

I Tested Every ‘Boyfriend Couch’ in SoHo. These Are the Best 10

In GQ, writer Alyssa Vingan delivers a tongue-in-cheek deep dive into SoHo’s “boyfriend couch” phenomenon, ranking the best in-store sofas for weary partners while tracing how a meme about shopping fatigue turned into a full-blown retail design trend.

When it comes to exploring bizarro cultural phenomena before anyone else, few do it better than Nathan Fielder. Case in point? A decade ago, in a third season episode of his satirical series Nathan for You, Fielder proposed a then-novel idea to a boutique owner struggling to retain customers: a dedicated in-store “man zone” where “guys can chill and relax while the women shop.”

Fast forward to today, and brick-and-mortar retail is in the throes of an existential crisis, still trying to optimize the consumer experience. Stores are expected to be experiential third spaces with a café, programming, and parties—all with the ultimate goal of getting you to spend money. One way brands are cozying up their physical locations is through moodboard-worthy interiors and plush furniture, which comes in handy when one member of a shopping party runs out of stamina. Romantic partners often fall on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to their enjoyment of and patience for retail therapy, and thus, the Boyfriend Couch was born.
