All styles are expertly made by skilled craftsmen who have honed their skills over many years, producing garments of the highest calibre. The brand has a rich history dating back to the 19th Century, creating iconic outerwear for kings, and queens, for presidents, and prime ministers, for rock stars, musicians, sporting greats and Hollywood icons. To this day, everything is still produced from inside the same 150-year-old factory.

Stunning roughout from Filson

With winter round the corner we’ve been obsessed this week with this beautiful roughout leather short cruiser jacket from Filson. Roughout is leather that has been flipped so the smooth surface is on the inside leaving the rough nappy texture to take centre stage on the outside.

The full-grain oil-tanned leather will polish in wear areas, developing a unique patina that tells the story of miles traveled and jobs accomplished. The cuffs and collar are lined with cotton corduroy for next-to-skin comfort. Stress points are reinforced with solid brass rivets for strength, and front closure cuffs and waist-adjustment tabs all use solid brass snaps for unfailing durability.
